Maddie Greybar - High School Varsity and Club Volleyball
Player
Since I started playing at 12 years old,
volleyball has always been my passion. The sport was very
new to me, but I immediately developed a desire to play that
I hope to continue on a team in college.
I love going to practice every day with
new challenges and goals to push myself. The feeling that I
get when I know I have done well or accomplished a goal
cannot be felt off the volleyball court, and that’s why it
is my passion.
Being a part of a team that cares for each
other and is there in the most important battles of our
lives is what I live for. Volleyball has taught me
discipline and responsibility in everyday life. The
challenge I feel in volleyball to be the best I can carries
over to my education. I work hard to receive the best grades
I can at a challenging high school, and my hard work has
paid off.
I hope to play volleyball in college
because I know I can handle the great challenges that will
come my way. I have predominantly played defense, but
also have experience as an outside hitter.
